UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY (2)

By now u guys probably noticed a pattern , i dont like to make u guys read alot , i like to make it nice and short and to the point , but sometimes (like last post ) im forced into giving u a lil to read , so id like to make it up to u guys by posting this vid .

Now heres the trick , to feel how useful this vid is listen to this sorts "key" or explanation to the steps in this vid to understand what im tryina tell u :

1) The vid starts off showing the pic of a diver shooting underwater in a camera housing , dont be distracted by that

2) Concentrate on the guy shooting the vid , u will notice how first he is using a normal lens .

3) He then places a wide angle lens (a good chance for u to see what a wide angle lens does) on the video cam , which makes u feel like hes got a much bigger space in his frame, like he moved further back , now normally he could go back to catch all that in one frame , but last post we discussed how the clarity will decrease and that we must shoot as close as possible (which explains why wide angle and extra wideangle lens are extremely imp underwater ) . Another thing to shooting with wide angles under water is that sea creatures move fast and u on the other hand dont , so u wanna make sure that u dont miss any moment , and thats achieved by having a bigger frame..

4) The wide angle lens has a FILTER fitted to it . Its a RED filter . Now thats very imp underwater , cause everything appears greenish blue like u observed when he removes the lens , so the red filter adds red to the frame and enhances the colors and decreases that unwanted green blue ..
